Kareena Kapoor Khan shares a glimpse of her Rajasthan trip with Taimur Ali Khan

Actress Kareena Kapoor is currently in Rajasthan spending some quality time with her husband Saif Ali Khan and kids Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan. Well, as we all know how active Kareena is on Instagram and never fails to fascinate her fans.

On Saturday, she shared a stunning picture of herself on her Instagram story from her day-out in Rajasthan. In the picture, Kareena was donning light-blue flared jeans with a normal white t-shirt.

In another story, she posted a picture of Taimur. Sharing the picture Kareena Kapoor tagged him as “the love of my life.” The actress flew to Rajasthan earlier this week. Earlier in September, Kareena went for another family trip to the Maldives and celebrated her birthday there.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will be next seen in Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha.

From NCT 127, aespa to EPIK HIGH, Somi and Ailee, here’s a round-up of Korean music releases in October 2021

The month of October is dubbed as the month of spooky treats, and K-Pop did give us some. With Aespa’s ‘Savage’ to KINGDOM’s ‘Black Crown’, there were some tracks which suited the overall vibe that October brings along. Even then there were some groovy and funky beats that can anyone get up and dance like SEVENTEEN’s ‘Rock with you’ and GOT7’s Youngjae’s ‘Vibin’. The October also gave us some powerful tracks like NCT 127’s ‘Favorite (Vampire)’, CL’s ‘Tie A Cherry’, EPIK HIGH’s ‘FACE ID’, and SUNMI’s ‘Go or Stop?’s.

Let’s take a look at some of the wonderful Korean song releases from the month of October.

NCT 127 – FAVORITE (VAMPIRE)

The group released the repackaged version of their recently-released third studio album ‘Sticker’ with ‘Favourite (Vampire)’ as the title track, accompanied by a stunning music video. It is a R&B pop dance track love song which can be characterized by its signature whistle sound and rich harmonies. The lyrics of the track dramatically portray the message that their lover is their everything and makes them happy, even when the relationship is heading towards a tragic end.

aespa – SAVAGE

aespa continues their voyage in Kwangya with ‘Savage’. The song is filled to the brim with electronic music and synth-bass beats. Hip-hop and rap are paired up perfectly for a sassy song like Savage. The quartet transform into cartoon characters for a while as well. The music video takes the Kwangya story ahead, but also leaves a new question in its wake.

WOODZ – WAITING

WOODZ’s ‘Waiting’ is a song that will make you bop to the beats. The song, despite the portrayal of despair and sadness, is a groovy number. He plays with the vocal verses and delivers a sad pop anthem.

CRAVITY – VENI VIDI VICI

‘Veni Vidi Vici’ is a powerful track through and through. The trap beats, paired with semi-electric music create an aura of triumph and success. The lyrics point out the negative behaviour from others and give a hard-hitting reply. Picking up the Latin phrase which means ‘I Came, I saw and I conquered’, Cravity makes an apt representation.

SUNMI – GO OR STOP?

Sunmi’s delves into the techno genre with her latest Go or Stop? Her rich vocals can easily entrance the listener, add to it these techno beats, and there is no coming back from that feeling. Go or Stop? feels as if it ended quickly because once you hear it, it will leave you wanting for more.

AILEE – Don’t Teach Me

AILEE comes and woos audience with her retro jazzy musical offering. The music video is as vibrant as the song. Don’t Teach Me is a song about unapologetic self love. The upbeat music is highly accentuated with the saxophone. Don’t Teach Me is a complete visual and auditory treat!

IU – STRAWBERRY MOON

When the title itself feels like something out of a fantasy world, how can the music video be far behind? IU delivers yet another lovable romantic number with Strawberry Moon. Listening to song, one is easily transported to a fantasy land where everything is just how one wishes.

CL – TIE A CHERRY

CL is a strong and powerful artist, as we know. She has carved her own niche in the hiphop world, and her latest music Tie A Cherry is only testament further to her reputation. The song is unapologetic and advocates self love. The rap verse is in a league of its own, and if you are a fan of hip hop and rap genres, then this song is a must have in your playlist!

CNBLUE – Love Cut

CNBLUE opt for a retro theme for their latest comeback song Love Cut. The song uses retro music and acoustic guitar to give it a cinematic feel. The song is about cutting off a toxic love, but the beats are just so groovy that one cannot help but dance to a beat or two. CNBLUE members dressed in cowboy costumes exude a rich visual treat in the music video.


KINGDOM – BLACK CROWN

KINGDOM paints a fantastical picture of power, battle and claiming one’s destiny. The song speaks about the area that is beyond simply good and evil, about something that is beyond comprehension. The choir music like tunes, clubbed with the deeper piano tunes cast a mystical glow in the song. The vocals are harmonized matching to the upbeat gusto of the song.

EPIK HIGH – Face ID

EPIK HIGH’s new song is just a delight for fans all over. The song release not only brought a new addition to their discography, but it also brought along the news of EPIK HIGH’s next album which is coming soon. Face ID features three guest rappers like Sik-K GIRIBOY, and JUSTHIS. The song is abundant with rap and verses that speak truth syllable after syllable. This epic collaboration sings a song about being real in a fake world, and presents the listeners with reality bites, EPIK HIGH style.


SOMI – XOXO

Soloist Jeon Somi made her comeback with her first album ‘XOXO’ with 8-tracks accompanied by a magnificent music video for the title track. She talks about letting go in a break-up without hesitation. The song has been co-composed and co-arranged by $Pink Sweats.

Urmila Matondkar tests positive for Covid-19

Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar has been diagnosed by the novel coronavirus. The actress shared the news on October 31 about testing tested positive for the virus. She announced the news on Twitter. Urmila has mentioned that she has currently isolated herself and requested everyone who came in contact with her get tested.

Taking to her Twitter handle, Urmila wrote, “I’ve tested positive for #COVID19. I’m fine n have isolated myself in home quarantine. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately. Also humbly request all you lovely people to take care of yourselves during the Diwali festivities.”

EXCLUSIVE: “I am not the antagonist in Sooryavanshi” – says Gulshan Grover

Actor Gulshan Grover released his autobiography in 2019, titled Badman, which traced the journey of a Delhi boy moving to Mumbai who faced several hardships in making his mark in Bollywood. Well, Gulshan Grover has achieved global success and accolades as a villain and his character of Badman is an unforgettable character. Now, the actor has even launched grooming products under his brand Badman.

In an exclusive interview with XDReams, the actor talked about how does advertisement industry doesn’t let famous villains endorse big brands as they think it’ll tarnish the brand’s image. Gulshan Grover says, “There are so many actors in our industry who are so good and emotional humans. They do so many roles including antagonists. Badman is in the industry, thanks to the legendary filmmaker Subhash Ghai. The role and film turned out to be a vision in his mind that the film gave me a second name. So much so that recently Amitabh Bachchan also asked a participant which antagonist’s biography name is Badman. It became the talk of the town in the entire nation. But I never knew that name will become a brand one day.”

He adds, “The most progressive fraternity is the advertisement fraternity having young talented minds who are well-educated and open-minded. At the same time, they are the most conservative ones. They feel if an antagonist endorses a big brand, it’ll receive a lot of negative responses. There are rarely any famous antagonists endorsing big brands. Years ago, Gabbar, Amjad Khan sahab was the only one who endorsed it. Since then I haven’t seen anything and it’s been a huge break.”

He later talked about his upcoming film Sooryavanshi which is slated to release on 5th November 2021. Talking about the film, Gulshan says, “The film is finally releasing and that too on the day of Diwali. I’m really excited about that. All these heroes in the film Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Ranveer Singh and even heroine Katrina Kaif, all these positive characters – for all of them – the reason or the motive to carry the film forward is me. I’m not the antagonist of the film. As the director of the film Rohit Shetty says that the vision of good and bad has been blurred for this character. What he feels is right might not be good for others. Not good for the people and the police which might take many lives. But, he feels his mission is correct.”

Sooryavanshi releases on November 5, 2021.

Bigg Boss 15: Badshah makes Salman Khan recite Hum Aapke Hain Koun dialogue

In the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 15, rapper Badshah will be appearing on the show as a special guest. He’ll be joining Salman Khan on stage as well and entering the main house to meet the contestants. The previous episode saw Rohit Shetty and Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif who came to promote their upcoming film Sooryavanshi.

In the latest promo released by the channel, Badshah can be seen having fun with host Salman Khan. Badshah even asks Salman to say a dialogue from his film Hum Aapke Hain Koun. To which Salman Khan agrees and says the famous dialogue, “Log kehte hai Khoobsurat ladkiyan jab jhooth bolti hai to aur bhi khoobsurat lagti hai l’. To which Badshah replies: “Why do beautiful girls lie?”

Meanwhile, Badshah will be also seen playing a special task where the contestants have to give each other gifts. Well, Badshah’s task will create a lot of heated arguments among the housemates. When it was Nishant Bhatt’s turn to gift, he gifted a mirror to Karan Kundrra saying that according to him, his real side is coming out. To which Karan says, he doesn’t care. Other contestants also start blaming each other and even the fight gets physical among them.

Divya Bharti’s father passes away; Sajid Nadiadwala by his side

Actress Divya Bharti, who died a tragic accidental death in 1993, is missed by producer Sajid Nadiadwala to this day who was previously married to her.

Sajid, now happily married elsewhere, treated Divya’s parents like his own, looked after their every need. When Divya’s father Om Prakash Bharti passed away on Saturday, 30 October, Sajid Nadiadwala was there by his father-in-law’s side right to the end.

Says a source, “Sajid was by Divya’s father side when he passed away. He was at the cremation the next day. For Sajid, Om Prakash Bharti was like his own father. He calls Divya’s parents mom and dad. Now that the patriarch is gone, Sajid will look after Divya’s mom just like any son.”

Set against the backdrop of towering views of Mount Jiri, where rangers and other employees of the Jirisan National Park climb through the mysterious and unexplored regions of the mountain, trying to rescue the survivors and lost trekkers. Seo Yi Kang (Jun Ji Hyun) is the park’s top ranger who has vast experience in navigation, making her knowledgeable when it comes to tracking down lost individuals. The drama is centered on a mystery surrounding the mountain’s many visitors; those who come to kill, and those who come to end their lives. It’s also worth mentioning that Ju Ji Hoon, her current co-star in Jirisan, has also appeared in Kingdom (where she made a special cameo in season two and led its special episode, Kingdom Ashin Of The North).


LEGEND OF THE BLUE SEA

The fantasy rom-com marks the actress’ first drama after giving birth to her first child. Co-starring Lee Min Ho, the story is inspired by a historical tale about a mermaid contained in a short story anthology. The drama is basically how a mermaid from the Joseon era survives in modern society while she follows her one true love, a nobleman’s son named Kim Ryung from the Joseon Dynasty, to modern-day Seoul but encounters Ryung’s modern doppelgänger Heo Joon Jae, a highly skilled scam artist who first becomes interested in Shim Chung because of a jade bracelet worth $6 million that Shim Chung wears.


MY LOVE FROM THE STAR

The iconic character in K-dramaland, Jun Ji Hyun as Cheon Song Yi, gained the actress more followers internationally. The fantasy rom-com co-stars Kim So Hyun as Do Min Joon, an alien who landed on Earth 400 years ago during the Joseon dynasty period. He possesses a near perfect appearance and enhanced physical abilities involving his vision, hearing and speed. Later, he discovers that he has three months left on Earth. And that is when he meets Cheon Song Yi, the biggest Hallyu star in Korea (which she is in real life as well). Ji Hyun also won the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the esteemed 50th Baeksang Arts Awards for her role, and was given the President’s Award for this series. My Love From The Star was not only a sensation in the Korean wave but also was a cultural reset across the world. The food pairing chimaek (chicken and beer) started a food craze; the drama’s filming locations were frequented by tourists; and on top of that, the YSL lipstick that Ji Hyun wore in a scene caused a shortage. ASSASSINATION

The 2015 historical crime drama film is one of the notable works of the actress. Set during the Japanese occupation, an agent tasked to assemble a group to assassinate a Japanese commander and a Korean collaborator by extricating three prisoners from Shanghai. However, the Japanese are tipped off, and a notorious hired gun is sent to take out the assassins first. The film is also one of the highest grossing films of all-time of South Korea.


THIEVES

THE BERLIN FILE

Secretly watching the deal go down is embattled South Korean intelligence chief Jin Soo, the North Koreans and the CIA, who are all left trying to decide whether the ghost is a double-agent or taking the fall for a more insidious plot. Myung Soo a young, notorious North Korean agent jumps into these treacherous waters to investigate loyalties of all involved and begins to implicate Jong Sung’s wife, Jung Hee (Jun Ji Hyun), a translator at the North Korean embassy in the German capital. Caught between his love of country and his wife, Jong Sung must quickly prepare to make the ultimate sacrifice.


MY SASSY GIRL

One of the highest-grossing Korean comedies of all time, Jun Ji Hyun’s best known role as “The Girl” in the romantic comedy My Sassy Girl is based on Gyun Woo is a college student, more interested in picking up girls, drinking with his buddies and avoiding his nagging mother whenever possible. While riding the subway, a drunken girl then changes his fate forever. She’s nearly unconscious on the train and vomits on an older guy. She then leans over to Gyun Woo and everybody assumes she is his girlfriend! Gyun Woo soon finds himself in a relationship he didn’t ask for, but soon unable to forget this sassy girl. This is the first movie of the My Sassy Girl trilogy by director/screenwriter Kwak Jae Young. The second is the 2004 film Windstruck. The third is the 2008 Japanese film Cyborg She. They are unrelated except for having a sassy girl theme. Jun Ji Hyun is prominent for her award-winning films like My Sassy Girl, where she received the Best Actress trophy at the 39th Grand Bell Awards.


II MARE

The sci-fi romance film where Sung Hyun, who just moved into ‘Il Mare’ receives a strange letter. The letter is from a young woman in the year 1999, two years from the present. Her predictions about the past are amazingly accurate. Her warning about a flurry of snow on a certain day in January of 1998 and the ensuing flu virus turns out to be true. Eun Joo (Jun Ji Hyun) is convinced that her letter has travelled back in time to December of 1997 and starts writing regularly to her newfound pen pal. A professional voice actor, Eun Joo asks Sung Hyun to find her long-lost cassette recorder at a train station. Sung Hyun goes to the train station and gets a glimpse of Eun Joo, who of course, has no idea who he is.


WINDSTRUCK

This is the second of the My Sassy Girl trilogy by director-screenwriter Kwak Jae Young where Kyung Jin (Jun Ji Hyun), a police officer, on her day off, is forced back on duty when she is caught chasing down a bag-snatcher. The “bag-snatcher” turns out to be Myung Woo, a passer-by who was trying to catch the actual criminal. With a twist of fate, the two are paired together after Myung Woo volunteers to be on patrol looking out for unruly students.

“It’s up to us to ensure our children are drugs free” – Shatrughan Sinha

As a father to three grown-up children, actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha places the onus of proper parenting squarely on the parents. “The upbringing of star children must not be passed on others. It is up to us to ensure our children are drugs free. You cannot depend on nannies and ayahs to bring up your children. Or pack off your children to a boarding school just because you are in the limelight. No! It is important for parents to be there for their children, and that means you restrict your partying and socializing to be at home with your children. To let them feel like a family,” says the every-outspoken Mr Sinha speaking on star-parenting.

He gives more credit to his wife for his children’s upbringing. “I was working three shifts when my wife Punam gave up her career as an actress to look after our children. I salute Jaya Bachchan for giving up her superstar’s position to stay at home to look after her children. Abhishek and Shweta have turned out to be such fine human beings.”

He quips, “So many actresses let their children grow with nannies. When they see the photographers clicking they take their child into the lap. That’s sad. Whom are you fooling? The mother in you knows the truth.”

Now that Aryan Khan is home, Mr Sinha suggests some good family time at Mannat. “Shah Rukh should take time off. Just be with the family. He has earned unprecedented fame and fortune. Now his son needs him more than ever.”

SCOOP: Sajid Nadiadwala inks a 5 film deal with Amazon Prime – From Heropanti 2, Bachchan Pandey to Kick 2 for more than Rs. 250 crores

Sajid Nadiadwala is among the most successful producers of Hindi film industry with a knack of commercial cinema like no one else. He is known for his business acumen and now, XDReams has learnt that the filmmaker has inked a 5 film deal with Amazon Prime Video.

“In the lockdown, Sajid Nadiadwala was in conversation with several OTT giants to ink a multi-film deal for his slate of releases and he found his partner in Amazon Prime Video. He has inked a mega deal upside of Rs. 250 crores for five of his upcoming films – Bachchan Pandey, Heropanti 2, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, Satyanarayan Ki Katha and Kick 2,” a source told XDReams.

It’s a flexible deal, and they are yet to zero in on a window period between theatrical and OTT release. What caught our attention is the presence of Kick 2 in the contract. The source further told us, “Sajid is very keen to make Kick 2 with Salman and has been working on the script for a while now. He is sure that the film will be made and hence, included it in the contract. Of the entire slate, he has fetched the maximum amount for Kick 2.”

Apart from these 5 films, his soon to be released production, Tadap, too will premiere on Amazon Prime Video. The team has zeroed in on a 4 week window for this romantic action film. Sajid is also in conversations with satellite players and studios for partnership on respective deals.

Indian Cricket Team captain Virat Kohli is currently busy with ICC T20 World Cup. Anushka Sharma and their daughter Vamika have joined him in Dubai for the matches. On the occasion of Halloween this past weekend, their baby girl celebrated her first spooky fest with kids of other cricketers. Rohit Sharma and his family also joined the celebrations.

Vamika dressed up as a pretty fairy for Halloween. The pictures from the kids’ party have gone viral on social media. Natasha Stankovic and Hardik Pandya’s son was dressed as a ghost; Rohit Sharma’s daughter and R Ashwin’s daughters had also joined the fun bash.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli became parents to a baby girl in January this year. In February 2021, the couple announced they have named their daughter Vamika. Since then, the couple has hardly posted any pictures of their daughter on social media. Upon the birth of the baby, the couple put out a statement and requested the media to refrain from clicking pictures of their daughter.
