EXCLUSIVE: Shah Rukh Khan to make his digital debut with a web series on Disney+Hotstar

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback to the screen has been the most awaited comeback. The actor who rules millions of hearts was last seen on the big screen in 2018 and is yet to make an official announcement of his next film. While he started filming for his next titled Pathan last year, he has also signed few other projects.

On Saturday, Shah Rukh Khan was once again trending after he featured in an ad campaign for the streaming platform Disney+Hotstar. The ad spoke about the superstar missing out on having a release on the streaming platform at a time when his other contemporaries have all had a release on the said platform. The feeling of FOMO seems to have hit the actor real hard with this one.

The ad was first shared by filmmaker Karan Johar who captioned it as, “Never thought I’d see the day when even the Baadshah of Bollywood feels FOMO, Now I’ve seen everything!!”

Retweeting it, the Baadshah himself wrote, “Hmmmm….Picture toh abhi baaki hai….mere doston… [HASH=146]#SiwaySRK”[/HASH]. The hashtag [HASH=147]#SiwaySRK[/HASH] soon enough became the top trend on Twitter.

Now, a reliable source has confirmed to XDReams that Shah Rukh Khan will indeed be making his digital debut with Disney+Hotstar. The superstar has signed a web series that will exclusively stream on the platform. Further details on the web series are being kept under wraps for now.

As for his movie comeback, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in all his glory in Pathan which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The film directed by Sidharth Anand will be released in theatres next year. Khan is currently shooting for Atlee’s pan-India film in Pune with Nayanthara.

Arjun Bijlani invites his Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 co-contestants to his residence for Ganesh Chathurthi rituals

Arjun Bijlani is a true worshiper of Lord Ganesha and every year brings him home. The actor celebrates Bappa’s arrival and his stay in a very grand way and often invites his friends. This year too the actor has done some really beautiful arrangements and decorations for the same.

For the celebrations, Arjun was seen having the presence of his Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 contestants Rahul Vaidya with wife Disha Parmar, Sana Makbul Vishal Aditya Singh and Nikki Tamboli. The actor shared a video from his house where Vishal, Nikki and Nia along with others took turns to do ‘aarti’ and looked at peace. He captioned the video: “The Aarti yesterday. Arjun wore a lemon-yellow kurta-pyjama set with the same colour Nehru Jacket. While Nikki Tamboli can be seen donning a yellow sharara kurta set and Nia on the other hand donned white ethnic wear and a red dupatta.

Rani Mukerji turns ‘Fashion Queen of Fursatgunj’ in Bunty Aur Babli 2

Rani Mukerji is known for her stellar performances that have been etched into the hearts of audiences. She turns Babli aka Vimmy again in the completely rebooted Bunty Aur Babli 2, produced by Yash Raj Films. The actress, who has given Indian audiences some really memorable characters that people have fallen in love with, turns ‘Fashion Queen of Fursatgunj’ in this film.

Rani as Babli has retired from being a con-woman and has settled into family life with Bunty aka Rakesh, played by Saif Ali Khan – an exciting casting coup that has brought back the much-loved on-screen jodi (Hum Tum, Ta Ra Rum Pum) together. Given that she has a lot of time at hand in an idyllic small town, Rani has tried to turn into a fashion designer in Fursatgunj given her fondness for style and panache. Point to note: Babli’s sartorial choices are OTT and eccentric but that’s how she expresses herself and stays the center of attention. Bunty is supportive of his wife’s efforts but not necessarily in agreement with her loud fashion choices.

It is set to release worldwide on November 19, 2021. Bunty Aur Babli 2, directed by Varun V. Sharma (who worked as an Assistant Director in YRF’s biggest blockbusters Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai), will also introduce an incredibly fresh pair of Siddhant Chaturvedi (Gully Boy) and the gorgeous debutant Sharvari as the new talented con-couple Bunty Aur Babli. A new generation takes over Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

In the Monday episode, we saw that Akshara decides to leave the Goenka abode forever. She wants to do this for Aarohi’s sake and feels everything will be fine if she leaves. She prepares some dessert for the family which leaves them wondering why she has made it.

On the other side, Abhimanyu decides to go to the mask festival and Neel and his mom are shocked to know this. While his father creates an issue that he is shaking off his responsibilities, Abhimanyu is determined to go on a trip. Later, Abhimanyu saves Akshara from falling in the lake. He even fights some local goons who were making some bad remarks on Akshara.



In the upcoming episode, we will see that Abhimanyu comes to drop Akshara and meets Aarohi who tells him that she strives to always be number one like him and that Akshara is very simple. Abhimanyu replies that it’s difficult to be simple these days. Later the Goenkas and Birla kids meet where Abhimanyu says he wants to hear ‘Piya Toh Se Naina’ and Akshara sing it for him. Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Janhit Mein Jaari’s shoot stops after 4 crew members test positive for COVID 19 on the sets

The shooting schedule for Janhit Mein Jaari starring Nushrratt Bharuccha commenced on 26th October 2021 in Gwalior and was in full swing. However, when 4 members of the crew tested positive for COVID 19, the makers decided to isolate everyone immediately. Not only that, but they also took the swift call to send everyone back home without any further delay.

The shooting schedule will now commence on Nov 27, post the mandatory 2-week quarantine for everyone present on the sets, and the film will be completed by Dec 12. There is a delay in their plans, however, to the makers of the film, it is the safety and well being of every member of the cast and crew of the film that is more important and above everything else. Here’s wishing the crew members who tested positive a speedy recovery and kudos to the makers for making such a decision in a fast and effective manner.
