What happened to this site

What happened to this site, earlier there were sooo many visitors. I'm coming here after 4 years though. Earlier there was this site: xossip.com but after some time it got banned or something and I stopped coming but it was up and running soon enough. But office life got me. I've come here after around 4-5 years and it's all deserted.
What happened?
Where did everybody move to? Did people move to new website? If so plz lemme know too.
Xossip and Twitter are my only source.
