Hyundai India racks up 1 lakh bookings for the Creta
Hyundai India has just announced that they have received over 1 lakh bookings for the Creta. The Creta, as we know, is the Korean automaker’s latest crossover model which has seen great success with over 56,000 units delivered to customers since its introduction in July last year.
Hyundai has received over 1 lakh bookings for the Creta within eight months of launch. The Creta has generated good response in global markets as well, with more than 28,000 orders. To reduce the waiting period, Hyundai has revealed that the brand is increasing the production by 30 per cent to a total production of 13,000 units of which 10,000 units will be allocated for the domestic market.
Thanks to its well-built interiors and powerful yet efficient drivetrain options, the Creta has managed to lead its class by a considerable margin. There is, however, some newfound competition in the form of the Duster facelift which is now on sale and features a 6-speed AMT as well as an all-wheel drive version.
